Delivery and Collection Information
Data Powertools delivers across the UK using a combination of local delivery vehicles and national courier services.
Orders placed before 3:00pm are typically dispatched for next working day delivery where stock is available and the delivery service selected supports next day transit.
Delivery times may vary depending on:
- Product size and weight
- Stock location
- Courier network conditions
- Delivery postcode
- Bank holidays and seasonal periods
Some specialist machinery, oversized products, or heavy items may require additional transport arrangements and extended delivery times.
Free UK Delivery
Free UK mainland delivery is available on qualifying online orders over £50 excluding VAT.
This applies to many standard products ordered before 3:00pm where the delivery postcode falls within standard mainland delivery zones.
Orders below the free delivery threshold may be subject to standard courier charges based on product size, weight, and destination.
South Wales Local Delivery Service
Customers located within South Wales may receive delivery directly from one of our local delivery vehicles depending on the order size, product type, and delivery location.
If your specified delivery address is located in South Wales within postcode areas CF, NP, or SA1 through SA18, your order will usually be delivered by one of our own fleet of vans.

£3.00 for orders below £30 ex. VAT.

DPD Courier Delivery
Many online orders are delivered using DPD's express parcel network.
Zones A & B England, Wales and Scotland
FREE for orders above £50 ex. VAT.
£6.95 for orders above £20 ex. VAT and below £50 ex. VAT.
£4.95 for orders below £20 ex. VAT.

Zone C Northern Ireland and Scottish Highlands
£14.00 for orders below £20 ex. VAT.
£19.99 for orders over £20 ex. VAT.

Premium Delivery Options
Premium timed delivery services may be available on selected orders, including:
- Next working day by noon
- Next working day by 10:30am
- Next working day by 9:00am
- Saturday delivery
- Saturday by 10:30am
- Saturday by 9:00am
If you require one of these services, please contact us as the order will need to be placed over the phone after we have confirmed the delivery price.
Heavy Machinery and Oversized Items
Some large machines may be subject to pallet delivery charges, tail lift charges, or specialist transport arrangements due to their weight, size, or delivery access requirements.
Additional carriage charges may apply depending on:
- Product dimensions
- Delivery access
- Tail lift requirements
- Regional delivery restrictions
Customers ordering larger machinery are encouraged to contact us before ordering if delivery access may be limited or if a delivery quotation is required.
Click and Collect
Customers can choose to collect orders directly from our Cardiff or Bridgend stores.
Collection notifications are issued once orders are prepared and ready for collection. If all selected products are in stock, the order may be ready within hours.
For security purposes, customers collecting orders may be asked to provide:
- Order confirmation
- Identification
- Payment card verification where applicable

Failed Deliveries and Returned Orders
Carriage charges for orders that are unable to be delivered and returned to us will not be refunded.
Carriage charged to us by our courier for returning the item to us will be at the customer's expense and deducted from the total refund amount. The current return carriage charge is £13.20 inc. VAT.
Customers are encouraged to check delivery details carefully during checkout to help avoid delays or additional charges.
