This deep 1 and 1/4" 'U' shaped blade will rapidly turn down square timber. Record Power gouges are ground right across the profile to enable the full cutting edge to be used.
Designed for use between lathe centres on parallel grain, the deep and wide flutes of these gouges remove material with speed.
