1 Placing orders/making enquiries

2 Method of payment
(i) Credit/Debit cards - all major cards accepted. (Please note that strict security checks are used to prevent fraudulent use of cards)Please provide full contact details as above. If a trading company a contact name/Ext No. is always useful.
(ii) Cheques/Postal OrderAll cheques/Postal Orders should be crossed and made payable to ‘Data Powertools Ltd’, in £ Sterling only. Please write name and address/telephone number on rear ofcheque. Goods cannot be released until payment has been received.We can only accept cheques drawn on a U.K. bank.

3 Trade Credit Accounts
Bonefida trade customers are welcome to take advantage of our Net Monthly creditaccount facility.
(i) First orders should be paid for in advance as per ‘Payment Methods’ above.
(ii) A ‘Credit Account’ application form will be sent with the first paid order. On completion/return an account can be opened subject to approval (please allow 10/14 days for appropriate credit checks). official orders should be used or letterheads signed by authorized personnel will be accepted
(iii) All account telephone orders should be confirmed by fax/post clearly marked“confirmation only’

4 Shipping methods, charges and tax
Distribution is from the United Kingdom
(i) Uk and N. Ireland destination.Minimum postage for 1st Class recorded mail is £1.50 + VAT, thereafter @ cost + packing. Delivery to 90% of UK is next day but not guaranteed. For guaranteed next day, minimum charge £5.00 + VAT. Timed next day and Saturday delivery @ premium rates (ask for quotation)
(ii)International destinationsE.E.C. countries, minimum charge £5 or 5% of total order + VAT @ 17.5%. VAT Registered E.E.C. companies must provide official orders, quoting VAT No. to exempt the sale.Non E.E.C. European countries, minimum charge £5 or 5% of total order VAT exempt. Outside Europe, minimum charge £12 or 12% of total order VAT exempt.All packages will be sent via AIR MAIL to all destinations outside the U.K. and will be INSURED as appropriate to cover the full cost of the goods enclosed, this service isincluded in the shipment charge. All documentation, invoices etc. unless otherwise requested, will accompany the goodon their travels and any necessary documentation which we are aware of, will beavailable for inspection by customs officers where appropriate. If you know of anylimitation imposed by the country of destination, we would appreciate some small notefrom you on that account with your order. We cannot take responsibility where importrestrictions may apply, or where import duties/taxes apply.

5. Legal title of goods
Data Powertools Ltd retains the right of ownership of all goods supplied or delivered until payment in full has been received. |
6. Specials
Orders for all custom made bits must be accompanied by accuratespecifications/drawings. A deposit of 60% (balance due on delivery) is required andgoods are not returnable/refundable |
7. Manufacturers warranty
Carb -I - Tools (Aust.) Pty Ltd warrants that products shall be free from detects inmaterial and workmanship. Carb -I - Tools (Aust.) Pty Ltd’s sole obligation under thiswarranty is limited to furnishings without additional charge, a replacement for, or at itsoption, repairing or issuing credit for any product which shall within 1 year from dateof sale by Carb-I-Tools (Aust.) Pty Ltd be returned and found to be defective inmaterial or workmanship. No responsibility is accepted for bits of extra length, (highlength-diameter ratio) marked TX or TXX in the catalogue.Carb - I - Tools (Aust.) Pty Ltd do not guarantee against abuse of product and because of varying manufacturing methods employed by the operator, Carb - I - Tools (Aust.) Pty Ltd. deny any liability in use.

8. Returns and refunds
(a) Router cutters are a consumable commodity and as such are subject to a great deal of wear and tear. In a very heavy industrial activity for example lifespan of even our high qualify TCT and SC cutters can be limited to hours as opposed to in many instances years.
(b) RETURNS MUST BE AGREED IN ADVANCE AND A RETURN No. obtained
(i)If problems arise and cutters are returned to us within 30 days of invoice date and upon examination are found to be defective of workmanship or materials we will offer a ‘NO QUIBBLE GUARANTEE’ to ‘REFUND or REPLACE’ . Please seethe exception to this rule regarding X seriescutters in 7 above. Return shipment is at the risk of and cost to The customer which in the case of guarantee will be refunded under our normal shipment costs to you asdescribed on the current order form subject to a maximum of 12% of The cutters refund value. Refunds and replacements will relate directly to the original invoiced value.
(ii) Please be sure you understand what you are ordering and that the cutter is correct for The job In hand. Returns are subject to a 15% handling charge where cutters have been ordered in error and shipment costs are wholly non-refundable. This also applies to an exchange of goods when goods must be returned in their original packaging having been unused.
(iii). Claims for non arrival of goods should be made within the times applicable to the area of despatch as follows from payment dale and or despatch date whichever is later.

The rest of The world - - - - 14 working Days

9. Liabilities
(i) By placing an order The customer accepts and agrees to the terms and conditions confirmed herein. Every endeavour has been made to guarantee the accuracy of information contained within these pages.
(ii) Date Powertools CANNOT be responsible for errors omissions or mistakes and all technical specifications are liable to change without notice.
(iii) No liability is accepted by the seller for any direct or indirect loss arising from non delivery or delay of any goods caused by act of god riot or civil commotion war strike lockout fire flood drought act of government failure to obtain or shortages of raw materials or any other cause whatsoever beyond its control.
(iv) No liability, can be accepted by Data Powertools Ltd for any consequential losses or damage arising directly or indirectly out of products supplied.

10. Cancellation
a. Data will accept cancellation of an order for stock products providing it has not already been dispatched If the goods have been dispatched Then the method of return as outlined above in b will apply. Regretfully we cannot accept cancellation of ‘Special orders’.
b. Quotations in writing will only remain valid for a period of 30 days. Thereafter a new quote should be requested.Please refer to our site regularly to verify current prices and up to the minute changes to our world wide website.
