An economical Band Sawing Machine of sturdy construction, with two cutting speeds, for solutions of all kinds of cutting tasks, 90° and mitre cutting (-45°/+60°) of tubes, structural and solid material, designed for rough use in workshops. The KASTObsm E 2 offers uncompromising solutions for light to medium sawing tasks in machine shops. The universal bandsaw in sturdy construction is convincing in all sawing and mitre tasks (-45°/+60°) with reliability and process safety whether sawing tubes, profiles or solids. Among other things, the saw feed is controlled by an adjustable valve and the machine turns off automatically after the cut is finished

Machine base
The sealed machine base is a sturdy, torsion-free welded construction. The ergonomic design ensures an ideal upright working position and allows for easy chip removal.

Saw unit (saw frame)
Torsion-free and vibration optimised cast construction, with swivel bearing, free from play, provide for a vibration-free cutting of structural and solid material. The hydraulic cutting feed is infinitely adjustable by the weight of the saw head.

Inclined saw unit
Cutting through with a saw blade which rises towards and in a cutting direction of the material. This reduces burr formational.

Saw blade guide
The lateral guiding is effected by means of mechanically pre-tensioned carbide slide ways, the band guide plate is moved away for rapid change of saw band.

Saw band tension
Infinitely variable mechanical adjustment including visual display.

Drip feed lubricator
For lubrication of the saw blade, recommended when cutting tubes and structural material.

Material clamping by the machine vice
The machine vise can easily be adjusted for clamping the most different work piece diameters. The material is clamped by a rapid clam lever. The ability to align the sliding vise to the workpiece is a particular advantage. This ensures optimum clamping conditions at any angle. The vise is clamped in the selected longitudinal position.

Mitre cuts without length corrections
The centre of rotation of the saw head is at the intersection point of the saw band and the material supporting edge so that length corrections are not necessary when the mitre angle is changed. This enables accurate cut-off lengths. The required angle can be easily be adjusted and read through the provided scale.

Coolant tank
Volume of the coolant tank: max. 6 l. The coolant tank can easily be cleaned. A coolant pump is integrated to supply coolant through two nozzles at the band guides.

Operation
All operating controls are arranged ergonomically at the front side.

Cutting feed
The cutting feed (by weight of the saw head) is infinitely adjustable by means of precision throttle, for cutting solid and structural material. The saw head is manually lifted after the cut is completed.
